  1. Great dish! None left! Will definitely be doing this again! I've been looking for something similar to stuffed manicotti and this is pretty much it. Not as expensive.

  2. Very good. I did change it up quite a bit but used the main recipe as a core. I added two fresh tomatoes, two cloves of minced garlic, 1/4 chopped green olives, and spinach to the sauce and seasoned with fresh oregano and garlic salt. Added asiago cheese to the topping

  3. Excellent! This tastes great & is super easy! I had to make a few adjustments based on what we had. I used pizza dough rather than the crescent rolls & I also had to use ricotta cheese so I just added a few tablespoons of milk to get it a little thinner like sour cream. I used a jar of pizza sauce rather than the spaghetti sauce, only used a cup of the mozzarella, & added pepperoni to the filling and on top of the crust. I also spiced it up a little with some fresh basil, oregano, garlic, salt, pepper, etc. We had the leftovers tonight and we both agreed that it was even better than the first night, which we didn't think would be possible! Thank you so much for a winner on all counts!

  4. Wow is this ever easy! I got home at 6:15, made this and was eating by 7:15. This is good, however, I can see that the spaghetti sauce that you use needs to be very flavorful. Mine was not. I did add fresh mushrooms and next time I will add alot of spices to the ground beef mixture, as I felt it was a little bland (could be due to the sauce I used). My husband asked if this was like an upside down pizza, and I agree it has that kind of flavor. I will fix this again adding more spice and vegies, maybe olives and bell pepper. But for ease this can't be beat. Thank you for posting Bamabelle.

  5. This was delicious! I used extra lean ground turkey breast, 1 1/2 cup reduced fat mozzarella cheese, light sour cream and reduced fat crescents to keep this healthy. Even with all the reduced fat ingredients, it was so delicious that even my picky fiancee had two helpings. Next time I make this, I may add some diced green peppers to the meat mixture, use a reduced fat Mexican cheese blend, and add rotel to the meat instead of spaghetti sauce. I think that would be delicious as well! Very versatile recipe and super easy, thanks for posting!

  2. Melted the butter and brushed on pastry. Add a lot of seasoning to the meat and the cheese; added pepperoni.

  3. I melted the butter and brushed it over the dough then sprinkled with cheese & garlic salt.

  4. SUPER YUM, as rated by my husband. Disclaimer on changes: I used ground chicken instead of beef. Also, I added 1/2 cup ricotta and 1/2 cup spinach to the cheese mixture. Another thing I did which added to the appearance is I halved the recipe and made it in a pie dish.

  5. Quick, easy, and good. I substituted vegetarian grounds for the beef, and it worked fine. I had to cook it about 10 extra minutes to cook the crescent rolls all the way through, but when it was done it was very tasty!

I am not new to the kitchen. I've loved cooking ever since I was just tall enough to see into the pots on the stove. I used to cook dinner for my family when I came home from school so that the food would be ready when my parents got off of work. I work with the American Red Cross, which I've been with for 9 years either as a volunteer, part time or full time. Oh, and I hate doing the dishes!
