I made this recipe last night, but I did not have the hot chili sauce, and it was absolutely delicious! It had a slight spicy aftertaste, but it was very easy to keep eating. I used slightly leaner turnkey and the flavor was full. I would definitely suggest letting it simmer for the full 2 hours, possibly longer to allow the flavors to blend. Great recipe, thank you!

The problem with some recipes that use the word "spicy" in their name is that they really aren't. Well, NOT here! This recipe not only lived up to it's name, but it far exceeded expectations! We used the last can of black beans a few days ago in a turkey chili so I used the ground beef option & subbed in one chopped green bell pepper for the black beans, but otherwise made as directed. Absolutely delicious! Thanks for sharing your recipe, Rachel! Made & enjoyed for Fall 2009 Pick A Chef.
