Pork Chops Mozzarella

"Another one of my clippings. Found this one on a jar of Prego spaghetti sauce. I haven't tried this yet, but it sounds good and really easy (a big plus!). Kind of like chicken parm. I am guessing at prep time."

Questions & Replies

  1. This recipe has 6 servings. There is only 2 of us so we don’t need so much. Would it be the same amount of ingredients and cooking time if I only used 2 chips?

  1. I was wondering if you could put mozzarella cheese that has crushed red peppers and garlic on top of the pork chops??

  2. Very easy to make and quite good. I warmed the spaghetti sauce first before pouring it over the chops, as I wasn't sure it would be hot enough after only 5 minutes in the oven and I didn't want to overcook the chops. Nice recipe for a busy day. Made for Fall 2012 PAC game.

  3. Loved it and I'm thinking, let's see, what are the things I can say in Italian ... ... ... never mind.

  4. Oh, wow. This was really delicious, and everyone in my family seemed to enjoy it equally. Like my son said, it's gourmet-good. I will definitely make this again. It is quite quick to prepare, too, so it can easily be made even on a busy night when you don't have a lot of time to tinker in the kitchen but you still want to enjoy a nice dinner. Thanks for sharing your recipe, B&J'sGranny. This was one of my Pick-A-Chef choices, and another winning choice.

  5. This is a great recipe. I bought huge sirloin pork chops at Costco so as you can see I used 3. One chop is enough for the 3 of us LOL I used italian seasoning. Of course, I baked them longer but I used a meat thermometer. It was so tasty with the spaghetti sauce and cheese. Thanks B&J'sGranny :) Made for the Best of 2011 cookbook tag game
