ingredients
- 8 ounces cauliflower
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1⁄4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1⁄4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon paprika
- 1⁄4 - 1⁄2 teaspoon turmeric
- 6 -8 tablespoons oil
directions
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
- Toss cauliflower with oil and spice mixture.
- Bake 30-35 minutes uncovered.

This was quite good. I used a combination of cauliflower and broccoli, since that is what I had. I sprayed the pan and then just did a light sprinkling of oil, salt and sugar (I am not sure it really needs the sugar). The spices and roasting method were wonderful. I did take it out after 25 minutes. We are big veggie eaters, so even with an increase to 12 ounces, it fed two of us as a side dish. Thanks, Mosma!

This was good. I did follow others advice and cook at 400 for about 25 minutes. I also decreased the salt and oil. For 29oz of cauliflower, roughly four times the recipe as written, I used 3/4 cup oil, I think I would decrease that a bit more, and 1 Tbls salt, I think I would decrease that to 2 tsps. Overall a good recipe. Thanks, mosma, for sharing this!

I live in New York and have a wonderful husband and adorable 5 year old rambunctious boy. I work from home, which gives me plenty of time to practice new recipes (and of course, plenty of time to eat them, too!)
