Popcorn Cauliflower

"I picked up this recipe from a neighbor of mine. This has a great flavor and turns a beautiful yellow popcorn-y color when ready."

  1. Delicious flavor! I did find the cook time to be too long - lowered the temperature to 400 and cooked for 25 minutes which was perfect. Have updated to 5 stars - I make this often now. My kids who don't like cauliflower love it! It is great for leftovers too (if there are any...)

  2. This was very tasty. I left out the sugar completely and used one large cauliflower. Next time I will only use half the amount of oil and only bake for 20 minutes.

  3. This was quite good. I used a combination of cauliflower and broccoli, since that is what I had. I sprayed the pan and then just did a light sprinkling of oil, salt and sugar (I am not sure it really needs the sugar). The spices and roasting method were wonderful. I did take it out after 25 minutes. We are big veggie eaters, so even with an increase to 12 ounces, it fed two of us as a side dish. Thanks, Mosma!

  4. This was good. I did follow others advice and cook at 400 for about 25 minutes. I also decreased the salt and oil. For 29oz of cauliflower, roughly four times the recipe as written, I used 3/4 cup oil, I think I would decrease that a bit more, and 1 Tbls salt, I think I would decrease that to 2 tsps. Overall a good recipe. Thanks, mosma, for sharing this!

  5. This is a great way to make cauliflower! Used the spices recommended but didn't add any sugar. 450 was to high and had to lower to 400 and the cauliflower was cooked after 25 minutes. Will be making again for sure but will add a little less oil next time. Thanks Mosma!
