  • Combine the lemon zest, lemon juice, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, garlic cloves, Kalamata olives and cherry tomatoes.
  • Cook pasta and reserve 1/4 cup (60mL) pasta water.
  • Drain and toss pasta with olive oil mixture and reserved pasta water.
  • Toss with basil and Parmesan cheese, season with salt and pepper.
  • Garnish with extra Parmesan cheese if desired.

  1. So is this a hot or cold pasta? Ive read and re-read. Seems like warm at best..flavours sound delish and I'd like to try it.

  1. This is a wonderfully easy and delicious pasta dish. The lemony flavor is light and tasty flavored so well with the seasonings. I used whole-wheat linguini and omitted the olives because I didn't have any though they would be delicious with it. I did add a few more tomatoes in their place, however. Very tasty!   2. Very good!! I put shrimp in also. Will definitely make this again. Maybe add asparugus and shrimp the next time.

  5. I made this tonight (12/13/18). I'm used to meat sauce or creamy sauce on pasta, so was a little concerned with the broth being so light. I didn't use olives, nor garlic. I also added a large piece of chicken cooked on the stove in olive oil and chopped it up. I'm not one to measure things and I didn't this time either. Added a little more of this and a little more of that. A little extra seasoning, too. My husband and I both thought this was really good. And it was so easy to put together. Will be making this often now.
