I love this recipe, the only thing I change was the amount of salt used (1/4 of a teaspoon instead of 3/4) I also used butter with no salt and they turned out great! I split the batter in half and added some cocoa to make chocolate sugar cookies as well. My kids loved this cookies and we spend about 2 hours decorating them!

I replaced the crisco with butter, using 1 cup of butter in all, and these turned out awesome: the best sugar cookies I've ever made without my mom's help. I put the dough I didn't use the first night in the fridge and made more cookies the next night, which turned out even better than the first, so although this dough can be made immediately, it also works well as a refrigerator dough. Great recipe!
