Totally yummy cake! I made this for a co-worker's birthday, and had lots of compliments. I added some finely chopped pecans just on top of the frosting. This cake was so good & easy, and I like the fact that there's no oil in it. I am making it again this weekend for family, and will keep this recipe handy, 'cuz I'm sure I'll be making it over & over! Thanks for posting a great recipe. -M

It was my friend's birthday and I needed a cake....fast. I happened to have all the ingredients on hand. I made the recipe as written and it turned out very moist and very tasty. I rate it a 5 star because of the ease of preparation and the delicious outcome. I'm adding this recipe to my cookbook for whenever I need a quick, easy, delicious dessert. Thank you.

This recipe is destined to be a FAVORITE in my household. I made it for my daughter's birthday, as a sheet cake instead of in a bundt pan, and topped it with a recipe for Hershey's fudge frosting. It was phenominal!!! Everyone raved! Not only is it extremely easy to make, but it is one of the richest chocolates cakes I have ever tasted.

I made this cake for my dad's birthday, and he really seemed to enjoy it. (I didn't eat any because I follow a low-carb diet, but it certainly looked good.) It was easy to make, too. I only made a few changes; I didn't have cake mix on hand, so I made used 1/3 recipe of the homemade cake mix listed on the About.com Busy Cooks site. I substituted brown sugar for the granulated sugar called for in that recipe since I had no granulated sugar on hand. To that, I added about 1/6 to 1/4 cup cocoa and 1/4 cup vegetable oil along with the rest of the ingredients listed in this recipe. I used 1/2 semi-sweet and 1/2 milk chocolate chips, as that was what I had on hand. I also added a bit of vanilla to the glaze as vanilla seems to be a standard addition to chocolate recipes. I would definitely make this for someone again!

This was super easy and passed the chocoholic Mom's group I brought it to today! No one could believe it had no oil & only 2 eggs because it was soo moist. I used canned vanilla icing heated and drizzled on top; I used dark chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet; and I decorated around the outside with powdered sugar covered large raspberries (see my pics). I want to experiment using white choc chips inside. Wonderful!

YUM!!! We made this for Easter and it was SOOO GOOD. I made a loaf instead of a bundt and came out with a few cupcakes too. Cake was super moist and chocolaty. Instead of the chocolate glaze, I used cream cheese frosting and topped with shredded coconut. Since it was for Easter, I put some Peeps on top, too. We LOVED melting the peeps on top of the cake. The chocolate chips made it super moist after being microwaved and the melted marshmallow tasted SO good on top of the cake. Will definitely make this again!!

OMG!!!! This is the best chocolate cake I have ever put in my mouth!!! Followed directions for inredients, however made a 9x13inch cake instead of the bunt- easier to take to work.I don't know that I will gve this one away to co-workers.....I did use the chocolate frosting in recipe #89207.If you use this as well,I did use fat-free half and half and did use more than calle for 1/3 C.The cake and frosting together are the best ever! You really must try:) I'll never buy boxed chocolate cake or frosting again!
