I have made this several times and it is easy and delicious. My picky 7 year old likes it. In response to the person who thinks this is "nasty" and indirectly called the person who created it "lazy"... dramatically calling something "nasty" is not constructive feedback. Everyone has their own opinion as to what tastes good. Disagreeing with someone's choice of ingredients doesn't make them lazy, it just means they enjoy something that you don't. The ingredients in this recipe are not a reflection of their character and there was no need for a personal attack. Maybe that was not your intention, but that is the way people are perceiving it. Chances are you don't care, but I had to speak up because I wouldn't want someone doing that to me. "Do to others as you would have them do to you" -Luke 6:31

I've made this twice and very pleased with it. I don't understand anyone referring to this as "nasty". Perhaps her real issue is with her husbands "ex" and it tends to make her bitter toward anything delicious or pleasant. A quick prayer for her bitterness and a "thank you" for sharing this recipe......DELICIOUS !

Oh my goodness. This is the best tuna and noodles I have ever had. I have always just "dumped" ingredients into my casserole. But following this recipe made it wonderful. I think the mayo makes a world of difference. Its rich and creamy. We will use your recipe often, cheap and easy to throw together. Thank you for sharing this yummy dish with us.

Great recipe! A double recipe is perfect for a 9 x 13 pan. I sauteed the onion and celery a bit before adding it, and used the monterey jack/colby shredded cheese blend. For noodles, I used the Pennsylvania Dutch thin kluski egg noodles. Don't be afraid to substitute low-fat ingredients -- I used low-fat mayo, skim milk and low-fat cheese, and it still tastes delicious. Thanks for the great recipe!

TO SAVE ON WASHING UP: Cook the noodles first and set them aside. Then you can saute the onion and celery in the same pot until they're softened. Also, mix up the sauce in the casserole and you won't have to clean up a separate bowl. MINOR INGREDIENT ADDITIONS: Saute onion and celery to soften them Add 1/4 cup sour cream Shredded 6-cheese Italian cheese was excellent if you don't have cheddar on hand Sprinkle plain bread crumbs on top and dot them with butter. Also: The oven was fine at 350 for just 10-5 minutes, since there's no need to do much more than heat it together.

I've lived in the Midwest my entire life, but do enjoy traveling when possible. My Hubby and I plan most trips around where the best places to eat are located. I have a daugher, son, and step-son; all under the age of 10. I currently train new employees for a corporation.
